To remove and clean the flooring nozzle of the Hoover SmartWash Plus FH52000, follow these steps: 1. Ensure that the Clean Water Tank, Dirty Water Tank, and Solution Tank are removed and emptied to prevent any possible leaking. 2. Rinse any debris from the nozzle. 3. With the handle in the upright position, lift up on the nozzle release and pull the nozzle forward to remove it from the carpet cleaner. Be careful not to instantly pull the nozzle straight up. 4. Position the nozzle onto the foot of the carpet cleaner, making sure to align the tabs at the top of the nozzle with the notches inside the foot. 5. To reattach the nozzle, slide it forward until it snaps into position. 6. The nozzle must be in the proper position for the unit to have proper suction.

To properly position the springs on the handle of the clear roller cover of the Hoover SmartWash Plus FH52000, follow these steps: 1. Make sure the handle is in the upright position while using the hose. This will shut off the FlexForce™ PowerBrushes. 2. Use your thumb to push forward and up on the latch to remove the tool. 3. Slide the tool onto the connector of the hose until it securely locks into place. 4. To prevent any potential leaking, remove and empty the Clean Water Tank, Dirty Water Tank, and Solution Tank. 5. Rinse any debris from the Nozzle and slide the Nozzle forward to snap it into position. 6. With the handle in the upright position, lift up on the Nozzle release and pull the Nozzle forward to remove it from the carpet cleaner. Be careful not to pull the nozzle straight up immediately. 7. Position the Nozzle onto the foot, ensuring that the tabs at the top of the Nozzle align with the notches inside the foot.

If your Hoover SmartWash Plus FH52000 vacuum cleaner is unable to remove water, please follow these steps: 1. After completing the cleaning process, press the Dry Only button. This mode will extract any remaining water from your carpet. 2. Slowly pull the vacuum cleaner backwards to let it automatically dry your carpets by removing the water. 3. If you still see water passing through the nozzle, continue using dry strokes until very little water is visible. 4. For the best results, rinse the carpet with only clean water. Remove the Solution Tank and repeat the cleaning process. Please remember to avoid cleaning over floor electrical outlets and to empty the Dirty Water Tank when the motor sound becomes higher pitched and there is a loss of suction. Following these steps should help resolve the issue of your Hoover SmartWash Plus FH52000 vacuum cleaner not extracting water.

My smart wash won't power on. I've cleaned everything said to do. Different outlets still won't power on?

I figured out that if you DO NOT lend it to your 41 yr. old daughter to clean an apartment that housed her/spouse, 3 kids, and 4 dogs for 5+ years, it’ll work just fine!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Hoover SmartWash Plus FH52000 below.

My Hoover vacuum is losing suction. Why is that?

Your Hoover vacuum cleaner losing suction power can be due to the following causes: - The suction power is not set to maximum - The dust container or dust bag is full - The hose, brush or tube is clogged

How often should I check the filter?

A clean filter is important to maintain the vacuum cleaner's suction power. Therefore, check the filter regularly. When a filter is clogged, dust absorption decreases and energy consumption increases.
